A huge event you won't want to miss is happening all weekend long in downtown Pittsburgh. Many of you may have heard of it before, but for those who haven't, Picklesburgh is an annual event that takes place every summer on the Roberto Clemente Bridge downtown. It has been voted the #1 Food Festival in America and you will find every pickle product imaginable. Make sure to try the first-ever created chocolate-covered pickle Oreo and a pickle cheeseburger pierogi. If your starting to think this event isn't for you due to all the "pickle talk", don't worry, there will be plenty of delicious food options for all the non-pickle-lovers.
Along with the vast selection of food Picklesburg has to offer, there will also be an awesome line up of musicians to hit the stage all weekend long. Bands will perform on the Local Music Stage located on the Ft. Duquesne Boulevard off Stanwix Street. Also, look out for the Kraft Heinz exclusive limited edition release of the Golden Pickle Pin! Pins will be given out at the Kraft Heinz booth as well as pickle-flavored ice cream made by the delicious and renown Klavon's Ice Cream.
Picklesburg is a kid-friendly event with something to offer for all ages. The Lil Gherkins Kidsplay Activity Area will have all kinds of crafts, face painting, and other fun projects for your kids to get creative! From pickle juice drinking contests to DIY farm-to-table demonstrations, this awesome event will be the highlight of the summer for the whole family.
