Little Free Library
Little Free Library is an awesome way to support your community. The concept was started in 2010 by Todd Bol and Ricks Brooks to create a way in supporting a love for reading and literacy. The Little Free Library Movement is spread throughout most states and even other countries.
Their mission -
"Promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide. Foster a sense of community and connection as we share skills, creativity, and wisdom across generations. Build more than 2,510 libraries around the world (the number of real libraries built by Andrew Carnegie)!"
How it works -
The Little Free Library stocks your location with books to meet the community's interest. All are welcome to come by and grab a book and add another one to the library! Books are gifted to the community members and are never for sale!
